BACKGROUND COVID-19 - It is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. The virus, from the same family as SARS and MERS viruses, causes a respiratory illness with infections ranging from mild to severe illness, and in some cases, death. ARIMA ML Algorithm - ARIMA is an acronym that stands for AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average. This is one of the finest and effective machine learning algorithms for performing time series forecasting. Hence, I have used it to forecast the COVID-19 prediction for the top 10 countries. KEY HIGHLIGHTS The USA tops the chart with more than ~350K cases. Spain passes Italy and reaches the second position. China slips to 5th position bypassing Spain, Italy, and Germany.
